Man, haven't been posting for awhile. It's been so hectic with school and GTA:SA of course ;p. There's no use posting old tech news, cuz I'm sure some of you already seen them around. Wait... you know what?? I guess I just haven't been posting... because PSP came out!! and Splinter Cell 3!!!! I'm surrounded by people who have them! Yea, that's right! I've been isolating myself from the world! That's why there were no posts! &)($#&@#)$. Nyways, I have to thank a friend of mine for relieving my pain by finding out that Initial D LA Movie site is finally up. Not much info about the release tho, but there is a trailer that you can watch. There's a link in the site that says 'game' that makes me wonder if they're going to make a game based off this movie or talking about the recently released PS2 one. Here's teh link.

HAPPY PSP DAY, YA LUCKY SONS OF BASTARDS AND BITCHES! I'm still awaiting mine, and i'm GLAD i'm still waiting. According to engadget, the dead pixel problem isn't only the trend for the japanese psp, but also here and even worse. So HAH! And according to Sony, they won't replace/fix it cuz it's not under their warranty. Read the article here. Hmmm...... *prays that his coming psp won't be that bad T_T*

My favorite anime, Gantz, is finally released as a cell-shaded video game. As anybody would say, anime-based video game = one mediocre/lame game. I don't give a crap, I thought GITS:SAC for PS2 was pretty good. And Gungrave 1&2 to boost my comment. Here's a japanese link for the game. Hopefully there's some support for it to be released in japan. If not..., time to go torrent hunting =_=

P.S.: According to info recieved from TMB, Gantz' sale was 5,146 units [62.8%] on the release day alone. Pretty cool.

A couple of Call of Duty 2 scans have been posted via joystiq. It shows improvement in soooo many levels, dynamic lightning, more openly caothic terrains, etc. Not much details about it, but looking at the scans, I believe it will have consist of the minor wars in WWII (Unless they wanna re-do the whole famous WWII wars all over again, that'll be silly). Direct link can be found here (caution: Cechz? language)

The long anticipated and full of questions Marvel vs EA game have finally show its move. I have to say that maybe this thing is also running on the same engine as Def Jam Vendetta cuz surely from looking at the 2 gameplay screenshots, a ps2 cannot handle this kind of gfx much. Here are some of the details:
1) New characters
2) 3D fighting
3) A story
4) The title, Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects
Looking through the comic pages..., I got a bad feeling that it's going to be a sucky story...

From the makers of Mods4Free comes 4FreeSpot. It offers yet more free things that you can get, but the one I'm interested the most is the new XPS Gen2, it looks sooo hot.
(28 referals)
There are other expensive things there like an Alienware system/laptop, iPod, PSP, nothing that you haven't seen before. A little suspicious thing about the site is that in comparison with mods4free, the referals for the items are quite low. I also heard some ppl say that the offers they have are all CC based, which means you are required to have some cash to fork over the good. But anyways, give it a try, guys.
Here's a list of the offers if anybody can identify them, it would be greatly appreciated:
- Apollo Hosting
- Easy CGI Web Hosting
- iPowerWeb Hosting
- JumpLine Hosting
- Free Servers
- Sports Interaction
- StartLogic
- Party Poker
- Dot5 Hosting
- Advanced Network Hosting
- Blue Host
- Dish Pronto
- DIRECTV Satellite Systems by RapidSatellite.com
- HostRocket.Com
- iPage
- Road Loans
- TradebetX
- WebXites
- Worldwide Web Hosting
- Diet
- Globat
- DISH Network Satellite TV by AllSat.com
- Infinity Host
- Netfirms - Web Hosting for Small Business
- AtomicShops

My FreePSP status has been very lively. I guess many ppl saw my flood at kevinrose.com ;p, but ngh, who cares, I've seen some who do worse floods. I currently need 2 more referrals, so plz, sign up :}. I've got one person who've done everything including the offer. 1 real life friend who I can bitch about doing the offer, and some guy from.. KR.com I guess.. have to e-mail him. I promise my friend, a non-believer for these sort of things that once I get the item in my hands, I'll slap it on his face (not literally).
Come on now, you can do it.

Strangely the past couple of days, I've been very addicted to shockwave games. Here are some that I'm currently playing and a little review of them:
- Nanaca Crash
If you ever play those shitty pinguin games, you basically know what you're doing on this one. One this one you bounce around as an anime 'shoujo' character who got hit by a bike and bounced around by his buddies. There are at least.. 6 of his friends that you can hit, and they all have different results when you hit them, some good & some bad. Pro: VERY addictive. Cons: Currently None.
- Street Fighter (Online)
Simply said, it's the best SF port ever on shockwave. The smooth animation, the music, everything intrigues me in this game. Pros: 2 players option, you don't have a 'continue' option nor a 'game over' screen, you can keep going and die if you want, after you beat the bot 3 times, you win. Cons: 1 bgm, takes a long long time to play, buttons aren't very responsive. (Thx to Digg)
- Mini UT2k4
Nothing much to say about it, you know it when you see it. Very very entertaining. Pros: Not much fps required and you can play online with your buddies :D. Cons: Sometimes the bots get stucked. (Thx to Digg)

This weekend have been bizaree. I've gain yet another skill on GT4, or more like perfecting a skill. I took the time replaying courses in the Beginner Event. Doing so, I got my first Gold (YAY!). I gained about 107 A-Spec pts. from the past two days alone. Of course that is after I spent some cash on suspension and one other thing. I WAS aiming for a set2 ECU for my Lupo (+155bhp), then again I thought... why am I spending 11k on a car that only worth 3grand. So I say, fuck the po'lice, I say fuck the po'lice, imma save it up for a new car or something. Aiming for a Skyline, all 8 of them are 50k and up, I might as well get something before that just to keep me able and moving.
Random Question:

WTH is this and does it only appear on the GT4 Japan?

Nothing new here, has the stats and launch game titles. It's only one page, so don't hope for much. Thought that since it's about... 20 more days left, they could come out with a better web design or something.

Ever get pissed when you're about to scrim with your buddies or party-up to kill a lvl84957 boss in WoW but you always need to kick your friends' ass to get them going? Introducing... IGC, or In-Game Chat. It supports numerous different IM services (ICQ, IRC, MSN) and AIM, on the recent update. It also allows you to play music while you're enjoying your game. One draw back, it only support these games(at least for now):
-City of Heroes
-Evil Genius
-GTA3: Vice City
-Half-Life 2
-Lineage 2
-The Matrix Online
-Neocron
-Neocron 2
-Star Wars: Galaxies
-The Sims 2
-Tribes: Vengeance
-Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War
-World of Warcraft
-and about a couple others that haven't been tested...
It's a promising game tool to use, and the upcoming features that they listed can excite just about anybody.

Great news for MGS fans. A new MGS game is planned for the nextgen consoles (PS3 & Xbox 360) As mentioned before, Hideo Kojima, father of MGS, will not be the lead man for the new game. In a related note, let's hope it doesn't have ANYthing to do with cards.

Afraid of the shortage problem that occurred during the Japan launch of the PSP, Sony promised to deliver another extra 1 million PSP by the time of their launch date on March 24.
Once again, the PSP will sell for $249 at launch and comes bundled with accesories and a UMD version of "Spider-Man 2" the movie. To think that they can't make us 'pick' that free UMD movie...
Let's just hope that they fixed all the problems, that's my only concern.
Don't forget the free PSP offer!

MC Chris is on the move, ppl. For those who don't know who he is or need a reminder, he's best for doing the track "Fett's Vette" and numerous other works on Adult Swim. He is currently touring and tickets are getting harder and harder to get. I'm excited cuz he's also visiting my small town (it's wierd that he picked Denton... but not Dallas O.o) Nyways, check the touring schedule on mcchris.com. Let's just hope I'll be able to gather up some friends and go.

I am one of those gamers who enjoy looking at amazing and beautifully rendered environments and models in video games. I may not be the best gamer (as you can see from my GT4 learning skill), but just from experiencing the game's beautiful engine running right infront of my eyes are a real d-lite.
Thus I picked up this old article back up again. The legend of the Unreal. As you guys know, Unreal games are about to be the most popular PC games on the planet, along side with Quake, Half-Life, and many other FPS games. Personally speaking, I think that Unreal is the only one that shows progress through out each year. They release one game usually every year(UT2k3 > U2 > UC > UT2k4 > UC2), and just by that, you're able to see what they have improved and what new elements have they obtained. I think I have to say that Unreal Technology have to be the most interesting engine to challenge the market for video games (ATI, nVidia, etc) as they use the engine alone as a part of their benchmarking equipment.
Some screens to go 'yowzaa' and drool upon:
